2 men killed after shooting at apartment complex in Port Orange, police say

PORT ORANGE, Fla. — Police in Port Orange are investigating a shooting that left two men dead Saturday morning.

Officers said the shooting happened around 7:52 a.m. at the Sunrise Pointe Apartments on Richel Drive.

When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Police said both men were taken to a hospital where they died from their injuries.

Officers said the investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing.
