2 hurt after small plane crashes onto country club golf course in Volusia County

PORT ORANGE, Fla. — Federal investigators are looking into what caused a plane to crash in Volusia County.

The small aircraft was damaged after crashing at the Spurce Creek Country Club golf course.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the single-engine plane crashed around noon Thursday.

Two people on board the plane when it crashed.

One of them was taken to the hospital and should be okay.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are both involved in the investigation.
