A Volusia County worker died and 14 others were injured when a utility truck crashed into the back of a Votran bus, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened at about 8 a.m. on International Speedway Boulevard, near Indian Lake Road.
The 52-year-old utility truck driver was traveling eastbound on International Speedway Boulevard when he failed to slow down and struck the back of the bus, which was stopped and preparing to discharge passengers.

Troopers said the utility truck caught on fire. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
They said 15 people were on the bus when the utility truck driver crashed into it.
Troopers said 14 of the 15 passengers were taken to local hospitals, with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
No other details were available.
