VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Volusia County man claimed a $1 million scratch-off prize this week.

Florida lottery officials said Jose Dominguez Rios, 35, of DeLand, won the Gold Rush Limited Scratch-Off game prize.

They said Dominguez Rios decided to get his winnings as a one-time, lump sum of $795,000.

Officials said Dominguez Rios bought his winning ticket from the 7-Eleven located at 331 W. Silver Star Road in Ocoee.

The gas station will get a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
