VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A United States Navy helicopter made an emergency landing in rural Volusia County on Wednesday morning, a Navy spokesman told Channel 9.

No one was injured during the “precautionary landing.”
The helicopter landed east of State Road 11 and north of State Road 40,
According to FlightAware.com, the helicopter took off from Naval Air Station Jacksonville.

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office said that at about 10 a.m., it was asked to send its helicopter to find a Navy helicopter that had made an emergency landing.
Deputies said they spotted the Navy helicopter -- which appeared to be undamaged -- and they landed to check on the Navy helicopter’s crew.
