Brevard Public Schools said in a release Sunday the decision came after players and parents attended a meeting after a hazing incident.

The investigation led to the players and coaches participating in an anti-hazing educational program.

The school district said the decision to resume the program after the suspension was also due to the engagement of the players during practice.

Some students were suspended as a result of the incident.

The varsity head coach was also relieved of his duties.

Football practice was allowed to resume last week, but this past Friday’s games were canceled.
