Pierre said the Vice President planned to speak on what’s at stake for women across the country, and the need for Congress to codify abortion rights into law.
When asked what specific initiatives or policies for protecting abortion access Harris might announce Sunday, Jean-Pierre pointed to actions the White House has already taken with its “limited authorities to expand access to care,” but couldn’t point to any other actions the Vice President might announce.
