ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando revealed more details Tuesday about its upcoming new water park.
Volcano Bay, which spans about 28 acres, features winding rivers, private two-story cabanas, family raft rides, and twisting body slides that launch guests above the water.
Park officials said guests won’t have to carry their own rafts up to the top of the slides.
Volcano Bay will feature 18 attractions encircling a man-made volcano.
Each area of the park will offer its own resort-like amenities, such as concierge locations and lockers.
There will also be themed restaurants and bars throughout the park offering food and beverage options.
Volcano Bay will be near Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
It's scheduled to open in June of next year.
