Universal to drop mask requirement for team members

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal announced they would no longer require team members to wear face coverings beginning Nov. 17.

The company said the change was made due to lower COVID-19 positivity rates.

Universal said the change applies only to team members who are fully vaccinated.

Team members who are not fully vaccinated are still required to wear a face covering at all times.

The company said face coverings for guests are encouraged while indoors but not mandatory.
