ORLANDO, Fla. — The University of Central Florida recently announced a change to its face covering policy.
In a statement released Monday, UCF officials said they now “encourage” rather than “require” students to wear masks at indoor locations on campus.
The university said the change reflects the campus community’s efforts to get vaccinated and lower the number of COVID-19 cases at UCF.
