The new expansion will replace the current tower, which has been a stadium staple since it opened in 2007.

“This groundbreaking is about more than construction – it’s about the dreams fulfilled and opportunities created for our student-athletes, university, and entire community… As the first project funded by TDT dollars to break ground, this expansion sets the tone for what’s next — world-class facilities that enable us to compete at the highest level and drive tourism to Orlando.”, said UCF President Alexander N. Cartwright.

The 90-million-dollar project is funded by the Tourism Development Tax program and will redefine the entire fan experience at FBC Mortgage for all its events.

The renovations will not affect the tower’s current use during football season and are slated to be completed before the 2026 season kicks off.
