OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating an early morning hit-and-run along Vineland Road and Kyngs Heath Road in Osceola County.

Troopers say the hit-and-run vehicle was traveling north on Vineland Road when it hit a pedestrian that was in the roadway.

Investigators are unsure if the pedestrian was walking along the road or crossing the street when they were hit.

The pedestrian was found around 7 a.m. and taken to Osceola Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Troopers believe the hit-and-run happened before sunrise and are asking anyone with information to contact Troopers.
