ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded Tuesday after a semi-truck overturned on Florida’s Turnpike.

The crash happened around 10:36 a.m. on the highway near mile marker 254 in Orange County.
The semi driver was hauling lumber and lost control after failing to navigate a curve, troopers said.

Troopers said the 47-year-old driver from Palm Springs was not injured and remained on-scene.
The large vehicle spilled its load and caused several northbound lanes to be shut down.

Crews are working to clear the roadway and traffic is backing up in the area.
