BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX plans to light up the horizon of Florida’s Space Coast Wednesday night.

The company hopes to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center.
The rocket will carry and send the SpainSat NG I, a Spanish telecommunications satellite, into orbit.

Liftoff is currently scheduled for no earlier than 8:34 p.m.

If needed, SpaceX has arranged for a backup launch window for Thursday night.
