PALM BAY, Fla. — Palm Bay leaders plan to discuss the future of fluoride in the city’s drinking water on Thursday.

The topic is on the city council’s 6 p.m. meeting agenda.
Dentists say the mineral helps prevent cavities.

However, some people have raised concerns over the possible negative health impacts of fluoride.
Councilman Chandler Langevin is set to lead the discussion.
Thursday’s meeting will be held at City Hall Council Chambers, located at 120 Malabar Road in Palm Bay.
