SpaceX set to launch Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast on Saturday.

SpaceX has delayed a planned Falcon 9 rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast.

The launch was initially planned to take off Friday morning from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

After several delays, including weather concerns at the rocket’s landing area in the Atlantic, the launch was pushed back to Saturday.

The rocket is now set to launch Saturday at 8:50 a.m.

The Falcon 9 rocket will carry and deploy 21 new Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.

The satellites are used to expand the company’s global internet network.

Lift-off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is scheduled for 12:13 a.m.
