5:00 p.m. update:

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX launched towards the end of Monday’s window, just before 3:45 p.m.

The vehicle deployed 24 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.

12:45 p.m. update:

SpaceX announced it has moved back the planned launch time again.

The launch is now set for 3:27 p.m.

Channel 9 will continue to monitor the planned rocket launch and will provide updates on Eyewitness News.

11:50 a.m. update:

SpaceX announced it is now planning to launch the Falcon 9 rocket at 1:59 p.m.

The launch window will be open until 3:43 p.m., if needed.

The company is aiming for an early afternoon liftoff of its Falcon 9 rocket.

The vehicle will carry 24 Starlink satellites and deploy them into low-Earth orbit.

The satellites are used to increase the company’s internet capability to locations around the globe.

Liftoff is scheduled for 12:21 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
