Gov. DeSantis and state education leaders visit Orlando school

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis made a stop Monday in Orlando.

DeSantis held a news conference around 10:45 a.m. at Lawton Chiles Elementary School.

The governor and others spoke for about an hour.

DeSantis was joined by Florida Education Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr.

State University System of Florida Chancellor Ray Rodrigues and Florida Prepaid College Board Chairman John Rood were also in attendance.
