Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly finally met with each of the students on Monday, Oct.10, after delays from Hurricane Ian.

The “Great Kid” award is presented by the sheriff to a student who shows respect for their peers, helps others, works hard to perform well academically, and represent themselves, their family and their school with great character.

The recipients for the awards are nominated by FCSO’s school resource deputies and Flagler Schools.
