ORLANDO, Fla. — It was hot again in Orlando.

Meteorologist George Waldenberger said some beaches are warming near records today for the heat. Beaches are a different story, about -10° cooler than Saturday.
Sunday night looks quiet, maybe a couple of degrees cooler than last night, and Monday, plan on more 90s with things a hair cooler again along the coast.
Tomorrow will bring our main chance of rain this week.

In Orlando, there will be only a slight chance.
The highest chance for rain will be in the afternoon along the coast, and not everyone will get rain there.

We all need rain as severe drought conditions spread across the state.
It’s possible we could hit 93° this week. And if we do, it will be the hottest weather this year.
This week looks hot, with the low 90s for most areas away from the coast.

We expect average temperatures; during this time of year, it usually runs in the low 80s.
A possibility for a chance of rain is unfolding this weekend, but it’ll depend on the track the approaching storm system takes, and it will need to push far enough south to hit us.
