This new restaurant is headed to I-Drive

Kavas Tacos + Tequila, a new restaurant concept from Meraki Food Group, is coming to International Drive’s Pointe Orlando entertainment complex this fall.

Co-owner Katerina Coumbaros, who operates three restaurants with her husband Vassilis Coumbaros, wants the 7,000-square-foot restaurant to attract tourist traffic from the nearby Orange County Convention Center. To that end, Kavas will boast four event spaces, two patios and 375 total seats.

Those amenities ideally will attract corporate groups and people celebrating holiday parties and anniversaries, Coumbaros said.
