These Central Florida ZIP codes have seen the most new restaurants open

ORLANDO, Fla. — Editor’s note: This story is available as a result of a content partnership between WFTV and the Orlando Business Journal.

Dr. Phillips, Kissimmee and Clermont have seen the most new restaurants open within the past year in Central Florida.

That’s according to data from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, which shows licenses for new food and drink establishments issued between July 2023 to June 2024. Orlando Business Journal reviewed available data for Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Brevard and Volusia counties.

The 32836 ZIP code, which covers part of Disney and Dr. Phillips — including the O-Town West mixed-use development — had 26 new restaurants.
