Theatre South Playhouse will stage Little Shop of Horrors this fall

ORLANDO, Fla. — Theatre South Playhouse in Dr. Phillips will present a professional production of the musical “Little Shop of Horrors” this fall.

The show runs from Sept. 18 through Oct. 4, 2026.

Written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, the comedy production will feature 12 performances over three weekends. The run includes evening and matinee showtimes, as well as a special industry night.

Nick Bublitz of Orlando Shakes is directing the production, alongside choreographer Dayja Le’Chelle and musical director Seth Durbin.

Several actors are making their debut at Theatre South Playhouse with this production. Dallas Maginn stars as Seymour, Daisy McCarthy plays Audrey, Alex Gerard plays Orin, Taylor Rawlinson appears as Ronnette, Assata Davis plays Crystal, and Sam Vidal performs as Chiffon.

Returning cast members include Scottie McLaughlin as Audrey II and Mark Ferrera as Mushnik. Malcolm Gibson, Saadya Amel Byrd, and Pat Clark join the cast as ensemble members and swings.

Performances are scheduled for Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 2 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm The schedule includes a designated Industry Night show on Friday, Sept. 25.

General audience tickets start at $40 and can be purchased through the show’s online ticketing page. Seniors receive a $5 discount, while arts industry and theme park workers receive a 20% discount with proof of employment.
