ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — The Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk Orlando returned on Saturday for its first in-person event after two years of going virtual.
On Saturday, over 700 people dressed in pink walked to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
“We are so proud of what this community accomplished today,” said Sean Gross, state executive director of Susan G. Komen, Florida. “After two years virtual, hundreds came together today to celebrate our survivors and fighters, raise remember those who we have lost and raise funds to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone.”
More thank $95,000 was raised during Saturday’s event.
