Surf the waves: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon reopened this week

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — A Central Florida water park reopened this week.

On Tuesday, Typhoon Lagoon at Walt Disney World Resort welcomed guests back to the tropical paradise in Lake Buena Vista.

People could enjoy a cold treat with the Moana and Hei Hei ice cream cones, along with new and returning food and drink options.

The water park had been closed for refurbishment and delayed reopening because of the cold weather.
