ORLANDO, Fla. — A dry start and warm start to your Sunday will give way to afternoon rain.

Meteorologist Kassandra Crimi said it will be another afternoon with scattered showers and storms.

Expect the storms to start a little earlier compared to our typical, late-day summer rain pattern.

Sunday’s storms move from west to east across Central Florida, generally between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Rain chances for most of the Channel 9 viewing area will be around 50% Sunday.
Temperatures will reach the upper 80s and low 90s.
Next week — the heat builds. Mid 90s will be in place most of the week, Crimi said.
