Subway Series: 12 new sandwiches are here; here’s how to try one for free

ORLANDO, Fla. — Sandwich lovers will notice some big changes to the menu at Subway restaurants nationwide, beginning Tuesday.

The sandwich chain introduced a new menu with 12 signature subs that can be ordered by name or number, instead of ordering a customized sub.

Subway said this is its biggest menu change in 60 years.

The company said it added more than 20 ingredients to its menu last year.

The chain also said that it will give away 1 million subs for free July 12 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Guests can visit a participating Subway location in Orlando and pick one of the Subway Series sandwiches at no charge.

Subway fans can choose from the following sandwich types, which are divided into four categories:

  1. Cheesesteaks: #1 The Philly, #2 The Outlaw and #3 The Monster
  2. Italianos: #4 Supreme Meats, #5 Bella Mozza and #6 The Boss
  3. Chicken: #7 The MexiCali, #8 The Great Garlic and #9 The Champ
  4. Clubs: #10 All-American Club, #11 Subway Club and #12 Turkey Cali Club

Despite the menu change, customers can still order their favorite customized sandwiches.
