ORLANDO, Fla. — If you’re struggling to afford a Thanksgiving meal this holiday season, there are places in Orlando that are lending a helping hand.

Here are places to get a free turkey or hot meal for Thanksgiving.

Pendas Law turkey giveaway

Pendas Law is hosting its 13th annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway in multiple cities across the state, including Orlando.

Orlando’s turkey giveaway takes place while supplies last Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m. at 625 E. Colonial Drive.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army Orlando is inviting everyone to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal at the Eric and Diane Holm HOPESgiving this Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 440 W. Colonial Drive. There will be takeout with limited indoor seating available.

Orlando Union Rescue Mission

Orlando Union Rescue Mission will host a dine-in feast beginning at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at its men’s home located at 3300 W. Colonial Drive. There will be free goody bags with personal hygiene products, a short chapel service and a full Thanksgiving dinner.
