Strong onshore winds push showers across Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s been a somewhat unsettled Saturday as strong onshore winds pushed scattered showers across the area.

The threat for showers will continue tonight, with the highest chance right at the coastline. Morning lows will be in the mid 60s.

More onshore winds are expected Sunday, which will result in more scattered showers. Once again, the best chance for rain will be along and east of I-95, with highs in the upper 70s.

The winds will remain persistent to start next week, which will drag more scattered showers from the Atlantic. Temps for Monday will be in the upper 70s.

Even higher rain chances are expected Tuesday, as more moisture moves into the area. Highs for Tuesday will push into the low 80s.

A cold front will move in midweek, bringing the highest chance for rain and possibly a few storms. Drier and cooler weather will return for the back end of next week.
