ORLANDO, Fla. — After a warm day in Central Florida with temperatures in the 80s, storms are rolling through the area.

The storms are firing up along the Seabreeze collision, Channel 9 Certified Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry said.

This is ongoing near metro Orlando, Terry said. It will bring scattered storms past midnight as the activity moves northeast toward the East Coast very early Friday morning.
Storms are now nearing Orlando and currently cover most of southern Orange County, Terry said.
