ORLANDO, Fla. — Another 175 people in Florida have died from coronavirus-related illness, the Florida Department of Health announced Wednesday.
The daily data shows an increase in deaths compared to those reported Tuesday, when 106 deaths were noted by state officials.
Since the pandemic began, Florida’s death toll has climbed to 14,488.
That number includes 14,317 residents and 171 non-residents.

Wednesday’s data also revealed 37 local residents among the latest casualties, including 12 from Orange County.
Osceola and Volusia counties each reported five deaths since Tuesday; Seminole, Brevard and Lake counties each reported three.
Polk and Flagler counties each recorded two new deaths; Marion and Sumter counties reported one each.

Lake: 193 deaths (+3)
Marion: 290 deaths (+1)
Sumter: 70 deaths (+1)
