A new Italian food concept plans to open in Orlando’s trendy Milk District neighborhood -- another sign that new residential and commercial development is attracting businesses to serve growing demand there.

Alfo’s Pizza Fritta on Sept. 14 sought a building permit from the city of Orlando to open at 2300 E. Robinson St., city records show.
The estimated cost to build out the new concept is $130,000, and the contractor is listed as Marini Construction Co.
