SpaceX could try for the second time to launch the world’s most powerful on Thursday.

An issue with a stuck value on the first-stage booster forced the company to call off a planned launch attempt on Monday.
Launch controllers couldn’t fix the problem in time but SpaceX was still able to treat the attempt as a wet dress rehearsal for the 400-foot rocket.

SpaceX is now aiming for 9:28 a.m. est. Thursday for its 2nd launch attempt from its “Starbase” in Texas.
The company plans to eventually use Starship to send people and cargo to the moon and ultimately to Mars.

“With a test such as this, success is measured by how much we can learn, which will inform and improve the probability of success in the future as SpaceX rapidly advances development of Starship,” a SpaceX spokesperson said.
