KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla — After a successful launch from Cape Canaveral Thursday morning SpaceX now has its sights set on next week to launch another rocket from the space coast.
A Falcon 9 rocket carrying a batch of 60 Starlink satellites is now set to lift off from Kennedy Space center sometime in the upcoming week.
Standing down from this weekend’s launch attempt of Starlink from LC-39A for additional inspections before flying one of our fleet-leading boosters, as the team continues to drive toward a separate Falcon 9 launch of Starlink from SLC-40 at the end of next week. pic.twitter.com/UvF0TUteQz

The launch had originally been scheduled for Friday morning but officials decided to move the launch to Sunday to allow more time for pre-launch checks and recovery craft to get in place. Sunday’s launch as now also been moved to allow for additional inspections.

This was the fifth launch and landing of the same booster that flew less than a month ago.
