SpaceX successfully launches Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink satellites

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX plans to launch two Falcon 9 rockets this weekend. Read more about the Starlink mission below.

SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon 9 rocket carrying 22 Starlink satellites.

Liftoff was 8:20 a.m. Sunday.

SpaceX plans to launch a batch of Starlink satellites at 8:20 a.m. Sunday.

The Falcon 9 rocket will blast off into low-Earth orbit from the Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The rocket will carry 22 satellites.

Weather conditions are about 85% favorable.

SpaceX also used the first stage booster of this mission for Crew-6.

After stage separation, the booster will land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.

SpaceX said there are several backup launch opportunities on Monday.
