After originally planning to launch on Friday, SpaceX founder Elon Musk confirmed the launch has been moved to Saturday.
Musk said online that the delay was needed to “replace a grid fin actuator.”
SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft is now scheduled to liftoff around 8 a.m. on Saturday.
SpaceX says it has made a number of improvements since the explosion during the first test in April.
The Federal Aviation Administration gave the company permission to launch just this week.
After testing in Texas, the massive rocket is eventually scheduled to take astronauts to the moon from Florida’s Space Coast.
