Police are trying to figure out why a man shot and killed his wife, mother-in-law and stepson before turning the gun on himself.
The shooting happened inside a condo off Coawood Court.

Lopez, along with her 15-year-old son Victor and her mother Mileda, were killed by her husband, whom family members identified as Carlos.
They said Lopez was scared every day of what her husband would do.
Engley Maria is Lopez’s aunt. She said Lopez feared her husband for all five years of their marriage.

Maria said Lopez was worried about her life, and those of her mom and son, but she never thought something like this would happen.
Lopez’s cousin, Diane Carolina, was crying outside of her home.
“He was so jealous with her. With her family. With everybody,” Carolina said.
Both women said Lopez was too scared to leave and that was why she reached out to them for help.
“Every day she came to our house and said ‘I feel so scared. I just feel so scared about him,’” Carolina said.
Maria said Lopez was smart, educated and worked two jobs while Carlos was crumbling.
