A Siemens spokesperson said “the sponsorship will reach its mutually-agreed upon end date October 2017.”
“The Siemens/Disney sponsorship has evolved with the company’s changing portfolio since 2005 and has exceeded expectations,” the spokesperson said. “This successful relationship has truly been a fusion of creativity and innovation between the two organizations.”
Siemens currently sponsors the Spaceship Earth attraction and the Illuminations: Reflections of Earth fireworks show at Epcot in Florida.
In California, the German conglomerate also sponsors a display at the Innoventions pavilion and the version of "it's a small world" at Disneyland.
