DeLAND, Fla. — A law enforcement officer shot a man to death Friday afternoon in DeLand, the DeLand Police Department said.
Investigators said the shooting happened at East Euclid Avenue and South Woodland Boulevard.
South Woodland Boulevard is blocked because of the shooting.
Both DeLand police and the Volusia Sheriff’s Office are at the scene, but police did not specify which agency the law enforcement officer works for.

Residents are asked to avoid the area during the investigation.
No officers were injured.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the shooting.
