ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Sheriff’s investigators say a shooting Wednesday night left one man badly hurt.

It happened in a neighborhood not far from the intersection of Hiawassee and Silver Star roads.
Around 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to Menomonee Court and said they located a man, in his 30s, who had been shot.

Investigators called his injuries “serious” and at last check, he was being treated at a hospital.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active but did not release details about a possible suspect or motive in the case.
