Cocoa police said Nitekka Lennear, 27, was streaming on Facebook as she and her current girlfriend drove to and entered her ex-girlfriend’s apartment on North Fiske Boulevard Tuesday evening to confront her about a social media post.
Police said the confrontation turned physical between Lennear, her current girlfriend, her ex-girlfriend Aniyah Thomas, 21, and Thomas’ new girlfriend Leniquea Byrd, 21.
“In the video, a female is shouting ‘Shoot her! Shoot her!’ Multiple shots were heard and the victim is seen in the video falling to the ground,” officers wrote in a news release.
Police said they determined that Byrd was the shooter and Thomas was the person in the video shouting “shoot her.”
Both women were arrested Tuesday night facing charges of second-degree murder.
