ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Attorney Cheney Mason sat down with Channel 9 anchor Greg Warmoth for Sunday's episode of Central Florida Spotlight. This is the first time Mason has appeared on the show as a guest.

Mason discussed his ongoing relationship with Casey Anthony after she was found not guilty of first-degree murder charges in the death of her daughter, Caylee Anthony, in 2008.

Mason spoke about what Casey Anthony is doing now.

“(Casey) is likeable. She gets along well with my wife. Everybody that’s met her, likes her,” Mason told Warmoth. “She wants to go on with her life, and I’m dedicated to help her do that.”

Mason talked to Warmoth in length about the murder trial and answered the question if he thought Casey Anthony got away with murder.

Mason also talked about being hired on the defense team of accused killer Stephen Duxbury, the security guard accused of killing Sasha Samsudean. Mason said the public doesn’t know all that happened that night.

Central Florida Spotlight airs Sunday, Sept. 18 at 12:30 p.m. on Channel 9.
