The Artemis II mission will take four astronauts on a trip around the moon in preparation for the agency’s first moon landing since the end of the Apollo program.
Next year, astronauts Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman Christina Hammock, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen will fly further into space than any humans since the Apollo program.

On Tuesday, the Artemis II crew got a closer look at the Orion Crew module that will take them on their 10-day flight around the moon.
“I think the biggest thing for our crew is setting the stage for our colleagues and Artemis III and IV, doing everything we can to make sure the Orion spaceship is ready for humans, is ready to go, (to) complete the follow-up mission,” Wiseman said.
