Seminole County parents worry students may have been exposed to COVID-19 during SAT exam

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — One person at Lake Howell High School recently tested positive for COVID-19, and parents said they’re concerned that an SAT exam at the school last weekend may have exposed other students and teachers.

The district said they have alerted parents about the possible exposure, but they said they can’t confirm where the exposure took place on campus or if it was during that SAT exam.

District spokesperson Michael Lawrence said anyone who may have been at risk of exposure should’ve likely been contacted already by the Department of Health.

But the district said they took the same steps they have taken whenever a student tests positive for COVID-19.
