Person in custody after domestic disagreement leads to shooting

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — One person is in custody after a domestic disagreement led to a shooting Wednesday night, Sanford police said.

Officers just after 8 p.m. responded to the 1200 block of Magnolia Avenue for a shooting with injuries.

When they arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in front of a home.

All those involved are known to each other, police said.

The man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A bystander was also treated for minor injuries sustained during the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Sanford police or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS or crimeline.org. Those who provide tips that lead to solving a felony case are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
