Lake Howell High School officials address possible social media threat

WINTER PARK, Fla. — Lake Howell High School notified parents and students Sunday about a social media threat.

The principal said a photo of writing on a restroom wall claims a shooting will take place Monday.

The post doesn’t mention a specific school and has been shared on other schools’ campuses also.

Lake Howell High School is working with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office to figure out where the post originated.

School officials said they will provide more details when they become available.
