Explore the ‘haunted history’ of the Bradlee-McIntyre House in Longwood this Halloween

LONGWOOD, Fla. — Just in time for Halloween, the Longwood Haunted History Tour is being resurrected for its third consecutive year.

Along with being fun for the whole family, the tour also raises funds for the Longwood Historic Society.

According to a news release, the mysteries behind the history of the Bradlee-McIntyre House have been unearthed and the city of Longwood is once again opening the doors to all who dare to enter.

Guests are invited on an immersive journey inside the reportedly-haunted Bradlee-McIntyre House and into the unsettling past of Longwood.

Paranormal enthusiast, Michael Matson, will lead brave souls on this frighteningly fun-filled 90-minute theatrical walking tour of the home’s three floors and 13 rooms.

Guests will learn about the unusual traditional folklore, legends, and superstitions that were common in the 1800s to early 1900s and discover concealed rooms filled with potentially scandalous secrets.

A portion of ticket sales helps to support the Longwood Historic Society’s preservation efforts to repair and maintain the Bradlee-McIntyre House as a recognized historic landmark by the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Bradlee-McIntyre House is located at 130 West Warren Avenue.

Tours run at 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in October 2022.
