SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — The Seminole County School Board on Tuesday picked its next superintendent.
Chad Farnsworth was chosen as the next superintendent in a 3-2 vote by the school board.
Farnsworth has 10 years of experience in school and district administration, according to Seminole County Schools. He most recently served as the superintendent over human resources and employee relations/chief of staff for Lake County Public Schools.

He will serve as the 11th superintendent for Seminole County. Farnsworth is expected to begin sometime in March or April pending contract negotiations.
