A Seminole County man is a multi-millionaire after winning $5 million dollars in a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Paul Broomfield claimed the top prize from the LUCK scratch-off game after purchasing his winning ticket from the 7-Eleven on East State Road 434 in Longwood.
The 53-year-old Winter Springs man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,815,000.

The store that sold the winning ticket will receive a $10,000 bonus commission.
The $20 game launched in September 2019 and features more than $329 million in cash prizes, including six top prizes of $5 million.

Scratch-off games made up 75% of ticket sales and generated more than $1.3 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2020-21.
The Florida Lottery is responsible for contributing more than $41 billion to enhance education, and has sent more than 917,000 students to college through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
