6 hurt, including 1 teen, after fiery crash in Seminole County

Update 9:30 p.m.

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol said a multi-car crash with an SUV and a sedan led to a fire.

Troopers said a 53-year-old woman, who was in the front passenger seat of the SUV, remains in critical condition.

The SUV pulled out of a Publix on County Road 419 near Snow Hill Road.

The 54-year-old man then pulled out to turn left and was in the path of a sedan heading east, resulting in a T-bone crash.

The sedan caught on fire upon impact. Three people from the SUV and three people from the sedan were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

According to the report, the youngest passenger was a 16-year-old male, who suffered serious injuries.

All roads are now open.

Update 6:15 p.m.

Oviedo Fire Rescue reported there are 6 people injured.

County Road 419 is closed while Florida Highway Patrol conducts its investigation.

Oviedo Fire Rescue responded to a multiple vehicle crash around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Sterling Creek and County Road 419, the agency said in a tweet Sunday.

Oviedo Fire said there are five patients and three trauma alerts.

The Seminole County Fire Department is also present at the scene.
